Gaston D-Letelier Joins Seminal Artist Group as Chief Brand Officer

Gaston D-Letelier builds the infrastructure that transforms creativity into global product ecosystems. From NTWRK to Complex, from LA Comic Con to artist collaborations, the Chilean-Peruvian American executive has spent decades engineering culture into commerce. Now he joins Seminal Artist Group as Partner and Chief Brand Officer.

At NTWRK, he pioneered U.S. live commerce, turning livestream shopping into a category that paved the way for Complex’s acquisition by Universal Music Group. At Complex, he shaped creator-driven retail plays where drops became cultural events. Earlier, he scaled LA Comic Con from 40,000 to 129,000 attendees, developed Meltdown Comics into Hollywood’s underground hub, launched Beyond Fest into the country’s biggest genre film festival, and generated over $100M in revenue through artist collaborations.

“Size is nothing. Scale is everything. I build for scale, period,” Gaston says.

That philosophy defines his career. He has produced millions of products across toys, apparel, and collectibles, creating strategies that convert audiences into dedicated communities. His work has spanned global cultural capitals, from Tokyo to CDMX, Paris to Seoul, and LA to Istanbul. At Seminal, he will apply this scale-driven approach to accelerate growth across retail, fashion, cosmetics, food, and beverage.

“Putting money into artists’ pockets and enabling them to scale drives me. Seminal is the one-stop platform that connects brands and visual artists at the speed of culture,” Gaston explains.

With offices and partners in 20 countries, Seminal already collaborates with six of the world’s largest retailers, distributing products across 30,000 stores. His role is to expand this system further into culture, turning collaborations and IP into long-term engines of value.

“I don’t sell art. I build systems where creators, brands, and collectors all win,” Gaston says.
