Ta Byrne, born in Thailand in 1974, once thought becoming an artist was out of reach—until a simple sketch in 2011 changed her life. Known for portraying people in dramatic, emotional, and often theatrical ways, her work is always infused with deep feeling and a unique touch. Today, her paintings adorn homes, offices, hotels, and restaurants in 67 countries. Despite leaving school at 12 to work in the rice fields, Ta has risen to international acclaim.
